TRUONG NAM MARATHON "VUOT TRUNG KHOI" PROUDLY RUN IN THE SEA COUNTRY

On January 15, 2022, at 4:00 a.m., hundreds of athletes competing in the Trung Nam Marathon with the theme "Vuot Trung Khoi," organized by Trungnam Group, began in the coastal area of Duyen Hai - Tra Vinh Province. This is an awe-inspiring track in the Southwest's East Sea. The tournament was held on the leading bridge with a 25km track at Trungnam Group's Dong Hai 1 Wind Power Plant, one of Vietnam's first offshore wind power projects.


With over 600 professional and semi-professional athletes from all over the country converging on Tra Vinh province, a tournament is a place for the athletes to demonstrate their noble sports spirit and national pride. Members who take part for the first time.

Mr. Nguyen Tam Tien, General Director of Trungnam Group, presented the prize to the top three men who completed the 42-kilometer course.

Participating in a 5km marathon for the first time, athlete Tu Chinh – who won the 100m gold medal at the 2017 Sea Games – exclaimed, "This is not only a race but also a chance to bring the feeling of running on the road built by the spirit and strength of the Vietnamese people. This is also my first time running a marathon with a unique sea route. Hopefully, the marathon will be held again in the future."
